Have you ever noticed how the simplest things in life are the most extraordinary, the most meaningful, and the most beautiful?

I have a practice I want to share with you today, or actually remind you of,because you have all tried this before. It’s called SMILING!

Smiling is so extraordinary!

And let me point out that this is not about being fake. It’s not about not being present, or not being real. Because the most important thing is to be where you’re at, and who you are, in the moment. So you begin by acknowledging where you’re at. This is very, very important.

And then consciously, very consciously you smile. And see how immediately your energy begins to shift within your body and in your heart center. It’s very powerful. And then what happens is your emotions follow. It is a very profound spiritual experience.

Smiling is so powerful. At any moment in your day when you’re feeling depressed, or intense, or angry, or whatever you might be feeling, when you consciously remember and actually smile, it shifts your energy immediately.

To take it to the next level, if you have a mirror handy (you don’t want to do this while you’re driving!) try smiling while looking in your own eyes. It might feel quite uncomfortable at first if you’re not used to it. But it’s really about loving yourself ultimately, that’s what this whole practice is about.

And for you business minded people out there asking “Well how does this relate to my business?” it relates profoundly because your success in your business comes from the space from which you come from. People first and foremost want YOU. They want what YOU have to offer. They are attracted to YOU. And if they feel that they can resonate with you and feel that you inspire them and lift them up, then they will want to be part of whatever you’re doing. They’ll want to join you.

So I invite you to try it. Whenever you want, as much as you want!

Try smiling whenever you want to shift your energy. Feel what happens. Feel the miracle in this very simple God-given practice, this miracle called SMILING.
