Imagine yourself, for a moment, absolutely awakened in your self-expression. Totally free. Feel the power, the fearlessness to be who you are, and give voice to your innermost longing. To dance the Great Dance. To burst into song. To unleash, to unwind, to let go. To spread your mighty wings and soar like an eagle through the deep majestic skies of possibility. Inspiration and exhilaration pouring through your veins like honey nectar. Vibrant, radiant light, emanating consciousness, emanating life. There is no challenge too great and no hurdle too large.
Love is the most powerful force in the universe. The very air that we breathe and the prana that sustains our life is this divine energy. To be in sacred space is to feel the opening within us to experience unconditional love for everyone, for everything, for ourselves. It is appreciating the beauty of nature, being in a perpetual state of wonder, and feeling deep reverence for each miracle of creation. It’s seeing life through the eyes of a child and taking great delight in the infinite play of energy all around us. Life becomes a joy. We begin to see reality in all its magnificence. We become aligned with truth…..
There is nothing in this whole universe that is not love. Allowing ourselves to rest and flourish in Sacred Space brings forth this profound awareness into our heart and mind naturally and effortlessly.
It is immeasurably helpful to hold nothing back, to express and empty ourselves completely, creating the space for divine love to flow through us. The Divine Mother then take us gently into her arms, bathing our spirit in heavenly affection.
Sacred Sound spontaneously emerges within Sacred Space. It is an inner calling to express the beauty of our heart. Every expression becomes a perfect expression of divinity, each in our own very unique and wonderful way. Ever-fresh and ever-new. Opening the door to NOW, to the present moment. Opening to overwhelming joy. Opening to spontaneous stillness. Opening to this blessed sacred space. Recognizing our dharma. Experiencing our life in a whole new way.
Relaxed and present with shimmering spontaneity, we express our child-like purity: through motion or through stillness, through sound or through silence. Love is our focus, as we watch it grow.
Once we enter into this timeless “here and now” through pure grace, love and conscious intention, we are in a most auspicious and fortunate position. We feel inexpressible joy in the space between our thoughts. To simply be in this experience and to contain this energy is all we need. There is nothing we desire outside us. Even so, we are moved to express our happiness out into the world. This is the natural process of our expanding heart.
All expressions of love can transform us very quickly. When our heart opens, anything is possible. We enter into perfect alignment with our life’s mission, our purpose for being here. We are a flower like no other, with a sweet fragrance all our own.
Do the expression that is most dear to you. Do it because you love to do it. All the inspired thoughts and ideas and creative expressions will surface, those which are already present within you.
There are infinitely many creative ways to express our divine Self that arise spontaneously from the imperishable, ever-new, and ever-fresh source within us. Devotional music, chanting, and sounding are some of the beautiful spiritual expressions that easily transport us into the higher love of Bhakti Yoga. Perceived by yogis in the state of samadhi, or universal consciousness, mantras are used to go beyond the realm of words. When we chant mantra, we draw upon the accumulated strength of all the masters who have attained enlightenment by using that particular mantra. Our prana body instantly responds to these sacred sound vibrations.
I love to walk out under the stars at night and sing. Feeling my devotion and my gratitude for this incredible life we live, and for the cool, fresh air that fills my lungs, I allow the sounds to come spontaneously. Melody, words, and music stream from my very open heart. In these moments, I give birth to all of creation. The whole universe lives within my song.
Through sacred sound within sacred space we begin to experience everything in a new light. We slow down our thoughts. We become keenly aware of all the sensations in our body, however subtle they may be. We become aware of our breath. We become conscious of the very life force that streams through our body and gives us life. We begin to see everything as sacred. We honor ourself very deeply. We honor the other beings in our sacred space, and all across our planet, and naturally mother earth herself. Every expression is meaningful and flows from our heart space. We enter into a whole new and sacred space with each breath, and with each new expression of our spirit. We allow every moment to be a continuous flow of devotion.
We drink in everything: images, sounds, feelings, as an experience of mysticism, of healing, of an attunement to our true purpose in life. This experience catapults us into a new reality, from which we will never be the same. We let go. We trust in our Soul, we trust in our higher consciousness, which is guiding us every step of the way, with every breath we take. We become a fearless and compassionate Warrior or Warrioress on our journey through life.
And most of all, we let go and allow ourselves to have fun! We drink in the beauty of who we are, and know that every expression is perfect, that our voice is perfect, and our life is perfect.
This is the magic that awaits us, which we create together through sacred sound within the sanctity of sacred space.
